Quickstart
From zero to a scored QA run in a few minutes.
1. Create an account
Sign up at helixqa.tech/account/register/ or POST /api/v1/auth/register with email and password. Sign in to receive a bearer token; send it as Authorization: Bearer <token> on every API call.
2. Register an AI product
A product is the AI surface under test — a support assistant, a RAG endpoint, an agent API. Create one in the app (AI Products → New) or via the API. The adapter type describes how HelixQA reaches it (e.g. HTTP endpoint).
3. Create a suite
A suite groups tests for a product, e.g. 'Support QA v2'. Suites own runs, schedules and versions.
4. Add or generate tests
Write cases manually (input, expected behavior, severity, category) or use AI-assisted generation. Generated candidates are previewed and must be approved before they are saved.
5. Execute a run
Trigger a run from the suite page or POST the run endpoint. HelixQA executes each case against your product, then evaluates results.
6. Read the QA report
The report separates execution status (did the call work?) from QA status (did the answer pass semantic checks?). It includes overall score, pass rate, dimension breakdown and per-test failure reasons.
